About Us
Who are the Lions?
Lions are people like you and me. They are men and women who care about their communities and the world around them. The International Association of Lions Clubs, founded in 1917 is the largest of all service organizations- with over 1.5 million members worldwide.
Who are the North Cobb Lions?
The North Cobb Lions Club is formally known as the Kennesaw-Acworth Lions Club. Our club chartered in 2006 and was renamed in 2011. We help those in our community with eye exams and eyeglasses. Just reach out to us via our email address and we will respond to you as quickly as possible.
In addition, we work with other Lions Clubs in the area by providing vision screenings in some of the elementary and middle schools in the Cobb County Schools.

Founded in 1917
We are best known for fighting blindness- it's part of our history as well as our work today. But we also perform volunteer work for many different kinds of community projects - including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, and aiding seniors and the disabled.
